IEX 2020 on a good course with new formats
Europe's leading trade fair for insulation technology will be held for the first time in Nuremberg from 24 to 25 June 2020, making the Franconian metropolis the new meeting place and trading centre for all aspects of heat and cold insulation, noise and fire protection. One year before the start of the fair, more than half of the exhibition space has already been booked.
"The new location has met with great approval from the exhibitors", says Hans-Joachim Erbel, CEO of the organiser Reed Exhibitions. The decision to organise the IEX parallel to the Feuertrutz fire protection trade fair in future has also met with a positive response. A total of 170 exhibitors are expected at IEX 2020.
"For us, the IEX is the most important trade fair for insulation technology, with a broad public and visitors from all over the world. The fair offers us a unique opportunity to present the current state of developments. We will continue to seize this opportunity in 2020, says Markus Biland, Managing Director of MABI AG. The Swiss mechanical engineering company will present itself at the IEX in 2020. "With the new exhibition venue of Nuremberg, the IEX will in future also be a little more oriented towards the East, which can be very interesting from our point of view," continues Biland.
The move to the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre offers IEX new design possibilities. Special theme areas at IEX 2020 will provide a clear structure and make exhibitors' innovations on selected themes more visible.
